The Captain’s Club at Woodfield Wedding

Kelsey & James say “I do!”

I feel so honored to be chosen to photograph 3 weddings from this family.  Talk about love, laughter, and a family that enjoys life!  James and Kelsey are so cute together and you can feel the love they have for each other just being in their presence.  From the sweetest flower girl and ring bearer, Kelsey’s timeless beauty, to Kelsey and James’ siblings singing their song for the first dance, so many special moments surround this wedding.  Here’s a few of my favorite images to tell their wedding story.

Special thanks to Nick Wisda, from Nick Wisda Photography for being such a fantastic partner for the day, check out his website to see some of his fantastic work!

St Mary’s Cultural Center Wedding, Livonia, MI

Rachel & Rob say “I do!”

What a wonderfully fun bridal party! You can tell that Rachel and Rob are  well loved by family and friends and the happiness and love that came from everyone that surrounds them was a beautiful thing to see on their wedding day.  Rachel looked like an angel in her wedding dress and is just one of the sweetest, prettiest brides I’ve had the honor to work with.  Rob and his buddies had us cracking up all day and the shenanigans that surrounded a pair of shoes was hysterical! We shot the bridal party at the Warner Mansion in Farmington, what a beautiful little Gem right in the middle of Farmington.  It was perfect!

Special thanks to Britt Hueter for being such a wonderful photographer to work with on this one – be sure to check out her website and see more of her beautiful work at  BamPhoto.

The Crofoot Ballroom, Pontiac, MI, Wedding

Bridget & Matt say “I do!”

Sweet Couple, cool venue, fun bridal party, boutonnieres made out of hops …wait did I just say “hops”, that’s right – hops!  Matt makes his own beer which spawned the idea of hops boutonnieres; it’s all those little details that go into planning a wedding that truly creates something unique to each couple.  Bridget with her bird cage veil looked absolutely breathtaking and Matt’s smile at their first look showed he agreed completely!  We hopped (pun intended) all over Pontiac for their portraits from alleys, sidewalks, to rooftops.  Here are some of my favorite images of the day.

Thank you so much to Julie Laakso from JCL Portraits for second shooting and helping, check out her website here  JCL  Portraits to see more of her work.

Grand Haven Engagement Session

Michelle & Andrew, she said “yes!”

Michelle and Andrew live in Traverse City so when plans started to shape up for where to do their engagement session and Grand Haven was mentioned I was like “I in!”.  I love the west side of the state and what a beautiful back drop for a beautiful couple.  Talk about an easy couple to photograph and just a joy to be around.  I can’t wait for their upcoming wedding at the Inn at St Johns!  Here’s a few of my favorite images of the session.
