Eric & Didi say “I do!”

Masonic Temple Wedding, Detroit MI Wedding -

Eric and Didi said their “I do’s” at the Masonic Temple in Detroit, MI.  Their wedding was so colorful with the traditional Nigerian dress and so entertaining with the traditional dancers.  Didi spent a year collecting brooches for her bouquet and it was worth it; it was surely one of the most beautiful bouquets I’ve ever seen.  To see Eric and Did’s Detroit engagement session, click here.

Thank you to the amazing Stevie B for doing such a wonderful job as the second shooter for the day.  Simply Brilliant Events did a simply brilliant job of helping plan this gorgeous wedding.

Josh and Kristin, she said “yes!”

MSU Engagement Session, East Lansing -

I can’t imagine a couple better suited for each other than Kristin and Josh.  Their lives are so in sync spiritually, career -wise,  future plans, and last but not least their love for each other.  When I’m shooting an engagement session I’ll have couples answer questions or play a game to keep the focus off the fact that they have a camera aimed at them.  The first “challenge” had my heart singing with the way they responded to each other;  I feel so lucky that I’m the one that gets to photograph them. There’s been times that I have had to hide behind my camera crying when a ceremony really moves me, I think I’m going to preplan for this one and have a hanky near by.  Here are some of my favorites from their Howell and Michigan State Campus engagement session.

Meghan and Pete say “I do!”

Meadowbrook Country Club Wedding, Northville MI -

Meghan and Pete said their “I do’s” at Our Lady of Victory in Northville with their reception that followed at the beautiful Meadowbrook Country Club.  Meghan was an absolutely stunning bride, but more than that she is one of the most beautiful girls I’ve eve met on the inside.  There is something about her that you can see that anyone she comes in contact with falls in love with her.  The speech her maid of honor gave was so touching and sweet and you can tell that when you are friends with Meghan you are friends for life.  I loved the best man’s speech too…I think my favorite part was when he referred to the first time Pete was telling him about Meghan and said that he’s dating a super model.  Their wedding was fantastic….crazy bridal shenanigans and all – it’s nice to see a bride and groom have fun on their wedding day!   I’m honored they chose me to be such a big part of their day.  To see their Howell engagement session, click here.

Thank you Jennifer Jones Buehrer from Luna Dulce Photography for second shooting and doing such an amazing job!

Jeff & Amanda, she said “yes!”

Howell, MI, engagement session-

Amanda is the daughter of my brother’s best friend, so it’s extra special that Amanda and Jeff chose me to be their wedding photographer.  A fun fact about this adorable couple is that Jeff is Amanda’s brother’s best friend. I guess growing up together and having so many common interests it was inevitable for these two to fall in love.  I’m so happy they were able to hire a puppy for their engagement session…..just kidding the puppy is theirs!!!  This was one of the most well behaved little puppies I’ve ever come across.  Here’s some highlights from their fall engagement session.  We shot around near my home then headed over to Parshalville Cider Mill to end the session….always one of my favorite places!!  Can’t wait for the wedding next fall at Fox Hills.
