Kevin & Stephanie say “I do!”

River Raisin Banquet Center – Monroe, MI, Wedding -

Sometimes I have the best luck when shooting weddings; Kevin and Stephanie’s wedding day started out cold with potential rain and then right at the perfect time the sun comes out and we were able to get tons of gorgeous pictures.  Kevin is an aspiring photographer and had scouted some locations for the bridal party pictures and I have to say I LOVE Monroe, MI.  What a great place for photographs and it was so much fun because it was all new locations for me – it also doesn’t hurt that they are the most adorable couple!  Here are some highlights from their wedding day.   To see their snow engagement session click here.

Special thanks to Stevie B Photography for doing such a fantastic job as my second shooter!

Kristen & Geoff say “I do!”

Fern Hill Golf Course Wedding, Clinton Twp, MI -

Geoff and Kristen said “I do!” in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Fern Hill Golf Course.  We hit downtown Royal Oak and also a park in Rochester for their bridal party portraits.  The weather was a wee bit chilly but thankfully no rain!  Kristen looked so stunning and I loved her hair!!! Here are some highlights from their wedding and check out their engagement session, click  here.

Jason & Julie say “I do!”

Chelsea Mi Wedding -

It’s fitting to tell a Thanksgiving story since it’s right around the corner, and all good engagements being with Thanksgiving right!?!  Well not all but this one does.  Jason took Julie to a park in Davison and announced he was going to her family’s Thanksgiving (up to this point he wasn’t planning on going), but followed his proclamation with “I’m coming so we can tell everyone we’re getting married!”  and so their engagement began……

Jason and Julie said their “I do’s” at St Mary’s Church in Chelsea, MI and the reception was held at the Dexter Knights of Columbus.  I loved so many things about their wedding, from the vintage car, the flowers in Julie’s hair, the bouquets, and all the way down to the specialty lighting at the hall….it made for some killer reception shots, and I can’t forget the honey gift jars as their party favor.  Julie works with honeybees and pollination for her job which leads me to a really bad bee joke I recently heard.   Why did the bee go to the dermatologist?    It had hives.

Check out their bee themed engagement session, click here.

Amanda & Andy – She said “yes!”

Amanda and Andy contacted me about shooting their engagement and was hoping for a photographer to come to their home in Howell.  I love shooting in Howell so I was super excited that they chose me.  Their yard is beautiful with nice mature trees, a super cute pond with a dock and even a row boat.  These two are jetting off to Mexico to say their “I do’s” and I wish them the best and beautiful sunny weather!
